Need general info on power lift

Are you familiar, at all, with power tilt and trim systems of any kind?

I've had several tilt and trims , but never had a power lift. It is on a flatlander 16. I bought it used.

You mean lift like lifting your boat at a marina in a stall, or do you mean a motor to tilt your engine up and out of the water? And that looks like C (like in Charlie) MC, not O (like in Ollie) MC. Correct!<br /><br />Mark

My understanding is that you would lower the motor at takeoff and raise it when up to speed for best performance. This is pretty general though and you will have to experiment with it to find the best setting for your boat...
