need help- 97' 3.3 merc 2-stroke lower unit needed.

Hi,

I'm new on this I-boat forum and wonder if anybody can help me out on this one.

I have a "new" 97 Mercury 3.3hp 2-stroke F-N shift gear 15" shaft without a lowerunit and don't want to spend $500.00 lower unit from Mercury dealer.

I found a 2.5hp Nissan lower unit from AMC marine in clearwater, Fl and want to know if this 2.5 lower unit can interchange to 3.3hp merc 2-stroke?

I'm looking for a used foot for 3.3 merc.

I know Mercury, tohatsu, and nissan made the same for 2.2, 3.3, 2.5 and 3.5hp but want to know if this can fit?

Can anybody please help?? I appreicated guys!

I'm located in Orlando, fl and looking for one, so I can take my little girl fishing in creek for brim fishing for starter.

They don't interchange on a Mercury 2.5 and 3.3 but I don't have a clue on a Nissan
