Re: Need Help fast
Besides the obvious, calling the last owner and searching thru the boats storage areas to see if its on board. I lost the key to locking lug nuts on a car and the local tire shop had a pile of keys.. He found one that worked. Also I had stripped locking lug nut on my trailer and bought a set of damaged lug nut removers [ lug nut remover designed to remove lug nuts that have had the shoulders rounded off] from the local Fleet Farm For $15.. They have reversed tapered female cutting threads built into a 1/2 in drive socket. You put it over the lock. Turn CCW and the cutting threads start to cut into and grab the nut, being tapered internally like a funnel, after a few turns they stop cutting, grab the nut, and start turning it. Worked well for me... Some ideas 4 u... Also made me realize how basically worthless all those locking lug nut systems are. Most can be defeated with a $15 tool and a ratchet.
