Greetings! So, my new Big Air Vapor wake tower is on the way. It's similar to the optional tower offered by Glastron on the 2011 GT 205. Attached is a pic of the factory tower. The tower install will requires mounts inside the gunwales near the front and rear sides of the windows. This will be difficult because the 2011 GT 205 cockpit structure from the gunwales down to the floor is one, integrated fiberglass unit. Glastron customer service says the gunwales can be accessed by removing the upholstery on the side walls. I checked. They do not appear to be removable. I can get in near the rear of the windows using the speaker holes. However, I can not figure out how to get beneath the gunwales up front where the passenger side and driver side consoles are. Attached are pictures of those areas. Any information would be very helpful.

Thanks a bunch!
John

Check real good for fasteners on the backside of the bolsters. Sometimes they are 'clipped' in. Try pulling/sliding UP on them..see if they move that way. If not..then they Might be held on by 'christmas trees'. You have to gently pop them off. But there is a way...sometimes its not easy though.

Thanks Yacht Dr. I found the upright bow cushions in front of the consoles are removable. They're held in using "Christmas trees". I will likely cut my access holes behind this upholstery b/c the holes will not be visible. When complete, the holes can be covered using deck access plates.

Thanks again!
