First I'd like to say this sight is fantastic. I have kind of been following the rules and reading others post for about two weeks or so. I finally got up enough guts to register and post myself.
I recently bought a 1980 20' Sunset Day Cruiser (CC)from a little old lady in Scottsdale who's husband had passed, and she wanted it out of her yard. I know nothing about boats so I had my father-in-law come with me. We made a deal and got the boat/trailer/bimini top for $100 bucks. Not knowing car engines let alone marine engines. I am trying to figure out what kind of motors it has. The one on the back hanging from a mount on the left side of the transom has Fastwin written on the lid.
The Serial Number plate reads: 25902D - E12132. If anyone has access to what year and home many horses it has, I would really appreciate it. It also has big engine underneath a big box at the rear. It says OMC Stern Drive 260, but the (outdrive?)is not connectedon the outside. I will need help with finding its info to, but I'll post the model/serial on the appropriate board.
Thanks in advance, I hope to get to know all of you, and absorb a little knowledge along the way.

Model number 25902 corresponds to a 1969 engine.
Other info:
Displacement: 22 CID (2 cylinder)
5500RPM@WOT
Plugs: Champion J4C
Fuel/Oil Mix: 50:1 TCW-III rated oil.
An OMC Seadrive normally has an outdrive connected to it. Perhaps others can help you with it.

Good luck! :)

Re: Need help finding info on old Fastwin

Paul Moir, Bob in Calif, I really appreciate you guys helping me out with this. The boat looks like it was down in rocky point, and not taken good care of. After all I found this Outboard laying there on its side inside the boat. It has a little bit of rust in areas. Mainly alot of dirtpacked grease. Wonder if you can just take a pressure washer to this? Can you find manuals for this old thing still? I really want to get it runing. Thought of just trashing it at first. Then I went down to Tempe Marine, and they want $1000 for a little 4hp engine. Im a big man, I need some power to push me around!

Bob in California - Thanks! How did I miss that???

If you can swing a wrench, you can service this outboard. Have a look at the 'Proper Tools' subject in the Engine (not Board) FAQ section.
As long as the engine has decent compression (100+ PSI, no more than 10% variance per cylinder) you can fix it pretty cheaply. The standard fix up for this engine would be a carb overhaul, new waterpump, and an ignition system inspection/replacement. If the ignition coils in that engine are as old as it is, they have no doubt cracked and will arc over at speed. That sounds way harder than it actually is. All that can be done for $100 to $200, depending on where you get the parts.
Speaking of parts, they're available everywhere. That engine existed in various forms for something like 20 years. Your local Johnson/Evinrude dealer no doubt has lots to offer. Online parts retailers, and even Napa Autoparts stores carry some aftermarket parts. (ignition parts, carb rebuild parts, impellers)
Manuals can be bought that cover this engine from Iboats (click on Manuals). I prefer the Seloc one myself for this series of engines. OEM (original) ones can be purchased from kencook.com, although they're pretty pricey. Sometimes they turn up on ebay a lot cheaper.
It couldn't hurt trying the pressure washer. Personally, I just go at it with mineral spirits (or degreaser) and a million rags.

Good luck!
