Need Help finding windshield part for Arriva

I have managed to lose the metal piece that goes over the glass on my 1989 24ft 2450 Arriva. I have looked lots of places and talked to lots of people but to no avail. The piece doesn't have to be the exact replacement. I was wondering is the straight piece off of another boat would work. I live in Nebraska and do not have any access to boat shops or places like that. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Ayuh,... What's it Look Like,..?? We either need a Picture, or 1000 words...

Being a 20 year old boat, finding an Exact copy is Tough...

Knowing what it Looks Like,..
Maybe somebody will have an Idea of what could be Made to work.....

Need Help finding windshield part for Arriva

Well I am going to try this again, this time with pictures. I am missing the starboard side metal piece that goes on top of the windshield. It is on a 1989 24ft Arriva. I live in Nebraska and do not have many places to look for this part. The piece that I am missing is 43" long and 1" wide. Any help you can give a fellow boater will be appreciated.

Not having any luck with this... I am not looking for an exact replacement for this part. Almost any straight windshield piece that is 43" long will work. I am even able to weld two pieces together if it isn't long enough. It is just that I am not close to any boat junk yard or someone that might be able to order something that might work. Smiling...It's getting close to boating time... need some help.........
