Hi there fellow Iboaters!

I'm in need of some help from the US. I can't get a gear ring (for the flywheel) for a 1994 4.3L Mercruiser (0f078347) here in Europe. I've been told that mercruiser only sells complete flywheels for like 1500 usd :confused: here in europe. Now, I read that napa sells them for GM in the US. My question: would anyone be so kind to buy & send me one? I would transfer the amount + something for the effort in advance (PayPal or wire). PRETTY PLEAAAAASE??? :D:D

Thanx in advance

You did not state what was wrong with your old ring gear.
If the teeth are worn, turn the ring gear over and reinstall.

Re: Need help from US!

Hi all!

Thanx for all the responses...

@Bubba: I'm from Europe, so no US car/truck parts here

I don't know if it's a 12 or 14... On perfprotech i get this flywheel part number: 222-824320... But if the ring gear is cheap, i could take both...

Here is my address (for the shipping quote, USPS if possible):

Hmmm I can't get a reply from betayv... Bondo, can you help me out? Pretty pleaaaaaseeee...

@sarantis: I don't need the flywheel, just the gear ring and i KNOW that those are the same in the automotive world, just muuuuch cheaper (in a post i read about 20 bucks).

Thanx

Ayuh,... Alex,.. betayv is In the business,...
I'm just a lowly Mechanic stuck up here in the frozen wastelands on the canuck border of New York state...
While I can put my hands on a Chevy ring gear,..
My only experince with international shipping was a Terrible experince trying to have something sent from Canada to here, 20 miles south of their/ our border...

If betayv can help you,.. Go for it,...
I'm not in that position myself....

Btw,.... You Absolutely Must find out whether you need the 12" ring gear or the 14" ring gear...

Hi all!

Yes, I have the 168 tooth gear ring; the diameter is 14''! Betayv, I send you some emails to the address provided in PM, yet there is still no reply! Communication via PM is the best way i think
