Need help getting top cap off of a 1988 Hurricane deck boat.

I am trying to get the tip cap off of my Hurricane. it is an old one 1988 but needs new stringers and deck. I can get the cap to lift at each rear corner but is stuck on the transom. Any suggestions to get lifted are much appreciated.
