Need help identifying a part

Just also wanted to say nice forum very informative!

I have a 1985 Mariner Magnum 150 and I need help identifying this part it no longer has the sticker or numbers on it, here is the link to the picture thanks for the help.

Any ideas guys? Oh it has three wires coming out of it 2 of them go to the top switch box and the other goes off somewhere else.

Idle stabilizer? not sure

Idle stabilizer module. will run without it, controls (varies) the negative bias circuit voltage on the switchbox.

From what I could find its safe to run without it I will try that, again thank you!
