need help identifying a part

i was wondering if someone could tell me what this part is in the picture attached. a friend gave it to me but i can't seem to find out what it is.

any help would be appreciated.

Looks like a fairlead for a cam cleat.

so, you took the time to render it in 3D to show online?

You must have some time on your hands...


Render the underside of it, so I can see if that tab off to the left could attach to anything.

Looks like a clamp with a screw head cover off to one side.

Rendering in Solidworks are ya ?

Try Harken, they are a big supplier of fittings of that type.

Could also be part of a tubing clamp support similar to these only nicer looking.

Did your friend give you the drawing? or the part?

If you or the friend need one then it follows that one of you must know what it is for. Unless this is some kind of test, or prank!

A couple or 3 more sentences from you about it might help, just sayin'.
