I’m pulling it from the fault memory in my VP Easy Connect.
Regarding the campaign: I’m aware of it, my local dealer blew me off when inquiring about it, said they were too booked to look into it.
The campaign involves temp sensor fitting upgrades. I bought the fittings and o-rings already, cost $20.
What I asked many sources and could not get an answer on (maybe should have asked here): the campaign notes that if the fittings break while being removed, the exhaust elbows might have to be replaced, and my question was who pays for that if that happens?
If there is a high risk of breakage and the related damage is on VP to eat, then it might be worth the effort of getting the boat to the dealer.
If all that VP covers is the upgraded hardware and the labor to replace it, that’s not worth the hassle of lugging the boat to the dealer.
Anyone know how that works?
