Need help identifying lower unit oil leak

I have a small leak under my lower unit that was not there when I put the boat up last fall.
Its a 98 Alpha One Gen 2. The leak is not the greenish gear oil color, it's more the color of regular motor oil. It appears to be coming from the port side weep hole where the upper and lower unit bolt together. Any ideas?

If you fogged your engine in the fall, it may be fogging oil that stuck to the exhaust passages of the drive, and slowly dripped down to the low spot.

Any chance it could be fluid from the trim system? (30 wt motor oil)
Last fall I had water in the trim oil so I unscrewed one of the trim lines on the port side with the drive up to get the milky oil out. I'd then fill up the resevoir and repeat the process.
I wonder if some of the motor oil somehow got in the drive?

imho, now, yer getting there. i figured ya was using hydrolic fluid. but if yer using 30w. for sure. specially if ya been tweeking on your trim line fittings. any thing ya touched would be first suspect.
fwiw. i had me a trim system leak. it gave it self away by being nice clean 10w30 oil (wants 20w which is nla hence the 10w30). i use green mercruiser hp in my drive. mercruiser 10w45 in the engine. which usually turns darker than clean when in use. trim oil stays clean. it was easy to figure when i had a clean oil appearing leak that it was trim system and not an engine oil leak. certainly not a drive lub leak. as it wasn't green.
