I have a boat that has set up for an year. It has been totaly rebuilt a couple of years ago. The problem is when i get up on plain and running the alarm buzzer comes on for a few seconds then shuts off which then kills motor instantly. I changed plugs, cleaned carbs, water pump works fine and changed it from seperate oil resivor to mix. I simply cut oil line to motor, added plug for no air and mix with gas now. I get plenty of oil now(can tell from smoke). I cut the oil indicator wire too from old oil resivor tank. After all this I did not wire nut them together, Will that fix the problem???????
