Hi Folks,

I am looking forward to growing our niche market by providing...

QUALITY ADVANCED ELECTRICAL ENGINEERED PRODUCTS FOR <s>FINE BRITISH CARS</s> THE MARINE WORLD

If anybody knows anything about British Electrical Systems... then you would appreciate the Parallels between those systems and the systems that have been installed & modified on Marine Platforms-- that's the Connection!

Currently, we are in the Research & Development phase learning all we can about the environmental conditions & challenges of Marine Electrical systems.

We would greatly appreciate your Insights, Suggestions, & Wish Lists that you can provide us.

Our Vision is to provide our customers with Advanced Electrical Engineering that is 100% Reliable & Crisis Free, Modular, Clean & Dry, and Flexible for future capacity upgrades.

Why? Because we realize that AAA doesn't exist offshore and we intend on Fulfilling that Gap of Confidence... Wherever You Are.

Please visit our British Engineering site at www.britishmcce.com and Review our Company's Value Proposition.

If you intend to market a marine version of this unit, relays need to be vibration tolerant and obviously salt water sealed. Contacts need to be sealed or of corrosion resistant material. While this system may find use on larger vessels with higher current loads, most smaller recreational boats (say those under 25 feet) would likely have no use for it since electrical loads are minimal and do not require relay switching. Small vessel wiring is a joke at best so I wish you well in marketing this or a similar unit to those manufacturers. Fuse/breaker panels must include a ground buss bar. The entire unit should have a waterproof cover. My two cents worth.

Thanks, Captain 8)

I have found sealed relays already, but your reference to motion is definitely part of the equation.

Contacts absolutely should be sealed with coatings & heat shrink tubing, by us & the customer during the install.

I believe we can still be of service to the under 25 feet class because of this fact,

Standard power blocks do not have enough relays to take the load off your OEM switches. Without the relays, corroded contacts in the switches will still have voltage drops that will leave you with dim lights and may even cause the switches to heat up enough to cause a fire. Replacing these switches is expensive and time consuming, and without reducing the loads, the switches will determinate rapidly, setting you right back where you were.

The Cost of Replacing (5) of your OEM switches could pay for one of our Powerblock Kits!

Also, your reference to the "ground buss bar" raises an eyebrow because these are similar issues with the old British cars.

Thank You, again for taking the time to help us.

Regards,
M
