Hi there I have just had my lower unit for a 1991 90 yamaha rebuilt and now cant seem to get it to go back on the motor. I had it in forward gear when i took it off and had it in forward when i put it back on but the spline wouldnt line up with the shifter so when it did fit i put it in reverse and it worked then the same for neutral but when i put it in forward it would just stay in neutral so I took it back off and tried again but cant get it on can any one help me out kinda stumped thanks.
