Don't Know Which flooring you've been looking at, But, I'm guessing it's a Cast Fiberglass Liner.....

No Paint....

I used Evercoat No-Skid, it is a rubberized treatment with traction niblets in it, sort of like do it yourself truck bedliner but better. You brush it on after sanding the surface with 60 grit and cleaning with acetone. It worked very well, it seals the floor, and stays fairly cool in the sun. The traction while wet is great. It is about $40 a gallon, I used one gallon on my 16.5 foot CC project, that gave me two coats. You definately want two coats of it.

I bought mine from my local marine store, it was one of the few things I didn't have to drive two hours for or order over the internet. You have to really keep it well mixed though. I used a wooden spoon chucked into my cordless drill and constantly stirred it to keep the niblets suspended.

Mine was gray out of the can, but it was also labeled as being gray. I would imagine it would have to start out as white in order for the coloring agent to work but I would make sure. It might start out clear-ish.
