need help restoring the paint of my boat.

hi.....maybe someone can help me i got and older model bot the other day everything is in working comditions the boat only need some cosmetic fuxture and one of them is to restore the paint i have the time to wax and do everything myself, i just want to know what would be the best way to go about so the paint can come bak and the boat can look new...

you question is a common delema...but we need more info......what kind of boat? fiberglass, aluminimum, or a woodie.

on the glass boat the "paint" could be gell coat...there is different soultions for each type.....
