Just picked up a second boat which is my winter project.
This boat has a '73 Mercury 850 w/ thunderbolt ign. It needs a new prop and the only # I could find on the existing prop is 48-77346-19. Is this all I need or should there be another number I have not found? I'm guessing it is a 13x19? Thanks

That number is Mercury's part number for the prop. If you want one, go to your Merc dealer with the number and say "give me one of these". It is a 19 pitch prop and if you want to confirm the diameter, use the standard tool to for that job (its a ruler). otherwise a good place to start is right here on IBoats. Go to the link below and enter your engine year, make, and HP and you will be presented with a listing of props for your engine. The Merc part number isn't even needed.
