Need help to Identify boat model please

Recently purchased this 1974 Caravelle 16ft boat, and I am trying to id what model it is. the Us coast guard tag show max hp 95, max persons cap 900, max weight cap 1350 with a model number of COV16 that turns up nothing in web searches. This plate matches information on iboats as a Caravelle Stinger but there are no images anywhere that I can find to back this up. The vin is CVB39583M74G which verifies it is a '74 Caravelle boat made in the USA in feb of 1974. with a serial number of 39583 which turns up nothing in web searches as well. Ya' might try sending the HIN to Caravelle and see if they can ID it for you. I think they're still in business.

Yep sent them nearly the exact same write up via email about a month ago and never got a reply. I have tried several times to subscribe and post to their owners club forums but for some reason it will not take my "gmail" address.

I do have it all cleaned up and on the water since these pics have been taken, the outboard I have for it is a bit small and Im looking to upgrade other than that I have no issues with it just want to know what it is.

Title says 1974 Caravelle COV16 for Boat and Model, that was the first place I looked

the stinger is 16' the stingray is 16.7' with other models being longer or shorter. a quick internet search of pics has those two models as tri-hulls
