need help w/ paint

Hi, I have an old 14' jon boat, and the paint is pretty worn and faded. I want to repaint it, but don't know what kind of paint to use. Since it's an old boat that isn't worth much, I don't want to use expensive marine paint. Does outdoor house paint work? Any suggestions appreciated! Thanks<br />Brent

If you don't want to buy a decent quart of marine paint why bother painting it at all? Just my thoughts. Bryce

ive repainted a few boats and usually we use enamel car paint with a poly additive and hardener seems to hold up pretty good if u prep them right
