Where is the water pump on a Johnson 35 hp engine located?

It's in the lower unit which needs to be removed in order to replace the water pump impellar.

I would suggest you get a OEM manual...from Johnson and not the other ones...I just did mine..its easy..but the book helped makes it easy...you need to take the 4 bolts hold the lower end on and there is one stud bolt on the rear that you see..plus u need to remove the intake screens and take the shift rod apart....u need 2 wrenches..one to hold the lower nut and one to turn the top one..

lol..here i am telling you how to do it and do not know the year of motor some are a little different process...sorry...

what year is the motor....
