I need some imput here on what might be wrong with my boat. took it out for the first run this season last week backed off the tralior fired right up after the 4 turn. i took the boat out by myself first ran great smooth throttle planed out quickly topped out at about 42mph turning 4300prm so i turned to go back and get my wife and kids and had went about 20 feet after i got striaghted back up and its like i just turned the switch off the boat just died. took me a few mins to get it to start back went back picked my wife and kids up got back out and i cant get the boat to plane out and i cant even get it above 15mph now at around 3000rpm all i can get even tryed it by myself still same thing 15mph tops. and after the boat has run wide open for about 10mins each time it just dies just like the first time its like i just cut the switch off and it gets harder to get started back each time it dies like that. any suggestions i have a 88 four winns horizen 180 with a 3.0 liter 4 cylinder omc
