Hey folks, thanks for helping...I have a volvo penta 125b I am trying to resurrect. At this point i am going crazy trying to get timing all set. I have three flywheel/camshaft wheels with notches in them and I seem to be pretty set on those, but then I am told I have to SLIP the distributor in with ROTOR pointing toward #1 cy.....On the picture I attached is rotor, what end is pointed toward cy#1? (the end with the brass tip or the wide opposite end?) And I have also read something about a NOTCH on distributor..I have attached a pic showing the notch....does this play a part in lining things up?
