need help with force 150, and boat questions

there should be a uscg tag in there tell you max HP, all hulls should have that, if not, go to a uscg and have them certify it

i am in canada for one, but i have not seen any tags on the inside of the boat....<br />Anyone have any ideas of the exact type of boat this is so i can try and search the net for information about it..?

Somewhere on the boat, near or on the transom, if it is a commercialy built boat, there is a tag from Transport Canada that lists the max power rating for the boat. It is probably not listed in HP, but in some sort of metric measurements. For example, my 17 ft Crestliner, sold in Canada, is listed as max 30 KW. I run a 50 hp on it comfortably.<br />Leave it to the Canucks to have standards that make no sense, of course, and I have no idea how to translate kw to HP, but perhaps someone at Transport Canada, or the Canadian coast guard, could help translate it.

ok well there is nothing there, i think it might have been a kit boat, or else the tag has just fallen off over the years...
