Need help with Lowrance LMS-335

I have an issue that I am not sure where to begin. I have a 335, with GPS. It seems when my GPS is trying to locate satellites and obtain position, my Temp reading is fine. As soon as the GPS positions itself, then my temp starts flashing 32 degrees and I can never get it to read the rest of the day. I have not tested turning off the GPS portion and see if the Temp reading is fine, I will do that next time I am on the water. I was looking to see if anyone had any ideas as to why this would occur.
