Hi

sorry, might be wrong forum category . But , any help appreciated

running our clean mercury 3.3 now for the first time in a year . Started fine and is currently running Ok , ( I’m sat next to it right now)

however , as soon as I up the revs( like a little above start line speed ) it starts slowing , so quickly adjust it back down . Obviously leaving it run now and crossing fingers we get home , but any mercury experts think of why ?

i choked it a little and warmed it up earlier in a bucket in neutral and as mentioned , starting no problem

thanks

3.3 HP?. Anyway, sounds like an advance problem, Check vacuum advance hose. Sounds like you're on the water or i wouldn't even respond, Outboard probably has an advance spring, but not familiar with the smaller engines.

Welcome to Iboats,

You're using the internal fuel tank, right ?
