need help with my 1985 85 hp force motor

when we go tubing an we get them to swing out to the side or turn the motor feels like it goes into nature then into drive.but when we dont turn or nothing it runs fine . if anybody can help me thank you alot .

Do you mean the rpm's increase quickly or the motor revs quicker when you turn? More details please

I had a problem similar...I had a 35 hp Force on a boat with a tall transom. The motor sat to ohigh causing cavitation. Felt like a clutch slipping!

thats just right thats what it does maxum_man so do i have to buy another one that is small im sry but im really dumb when it comes to boats what is the transom is that the bottom unit of the motor or is it what they call the whale tail
