Need help with my 76 15hp johnson

Hello all, I have a (15RL76) 15hp Johnson outboard on my Jon boat. It had been working fine for a long time and mid summer I would start it normally. It starts easyly like always.... purs like a kitten, then I turn the throttle and the motor starts to rev up and spits a spuders. I can't get it to full power.

A little history, I rebuilt the carb last winter when I bought the motor. After that it ran like no other. It's a good engine I just need a little help.

check compression and spark, if good, look at the carb, and the link n sinc. carb adjustments, http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=299680

Hey thanks man, I am currently deployed to the middle east, as I am in the Air Force. I wanted to get some answers so I can fix it when I get home. My two boys love to go fishing so I would like to get this motor running ASAP after get home. I looked at all your post, there's a lot of good stuff there, thanks for that. If I have any other problems I will post again.
