New to the forum, I like it so far!!
1993 Mariner 115 4 cyl. with 2 wires and a single piston.
My trim motor is very slow. So I took the engine off the boat and took off the power tilt assembly. The motor seemed to be ok, but there was water in the fluid. So... I want to make sure the valve body is put together correctly (I bought the whole mariner used). Does anyone have a diagram of the valve body? Like where the check balls go and springs and orings and so on... I have a diagram, but it is not specific for the valve body.
thanks fam,,
regards

My trim motor is also very slow on my 92 115. I have not taken it apart yet, but I have a seloc service manual that says the pump is not serviceable and must be replaced as an assembly. It doesn't give any diagram of it.

sure its not the o-rings? look at the one thats around the piston (does it have a flat spot, cracks, or nicks?) and the in the upper cap. you cant get these rings anymore from mercury but i have found the aftermarket ones (for these 2 only). i repalced mine due to leaking and so far so good. ill have to check on the numbers and supplier(i got them from an oil field supply co. just take in what u got and they can match or order). if ud like you can reach me at kbrown67045@yahoo.com.
