Need Help with Noise

I had the boat out this weekend and on the way back to the dock on the last day a noise poped up.

It almost sounded like a bad blower would sound. it seemed to speed up as the motor would. but the thing was when i got more up to crusing speed it went away and then when i slowed down for the dock it came back but didnt stay to long.

Any ideas? Anything would help?

What sorta motor and outdrive you have on that boat?
