I got this fiberglass 16.5 foot center console with a 2 foot motor mount on the stern not sure of weight of boat , 6.8 feet wide at beam and 5.8 wide in the stern.Boat is stern heavy, it has a 1998 75 Honda running a new Honda Marine aluminium 13 1/4 x 17 boat ran 34.5 mph gps speed water speed 37.5 with top rpm of 5000 if there was a bit of wind it drop to 4900 .I found it laboured a bit and had trouble hold rpm at 3700 rpm where I like to run at 22 mph gps at 3700 or 3800 to save fuel . So I change blade to new Honda Marine aluminium 13 1/2 x 15 it plane faster and holds rpm at 3700 , 19 mph easy with a top speed of 31 mph gps and 34 water speed and rpm go to 5500 . I find the motor turn over to fast and just not sound right. I was wonder if a 13 1/4 x16 stainless or a 13 1/4 x 17 witch one would be the better choice try ?
