need help with prop size

just bought a 1981 18 ft manatee with a 1985 evinrude. the prop is 13 3/4 by 15. cannot get the boat to plane out. the rpm's run way up at full throttle. the boat was once used for shrimping. what size prop do i need to get the boat to plane? any help greatly appreciated.

If your engine is turning high rpm's and boat will not plane ..I would check hub of prop first.....sounds as if it maybe spun..
