Anti-ventilation plate seems too high. Should start out even with the bottom.

my boat says from the specs i found it has a 20" transom, does that mean i have a 15 inch shaft? and whats about the steering can anyone tell me if that looks correct? it turns easily from the wheel

It looks like you have a 15" or short shaft motor on a 20 inch transom your cavatation plate is sitting way to high. Your steering cables are setup correctly.

well the good news is i already have the extension kit i pulled of another motor the only thing i need is the shift rod and longer water tubes.. oh yay more money out the door .. better get my parts manual out ...
