Hey guys Im back again --- you guys are the only ones that will shoot you straight and Thanks for that!!!!
I am puttimng a head gasket in my 1983 170 horsepower 470 mercruiser. We have recently moved up to the mountains and my manual has been misplaced!!! It is 250 miles round trip back to Phoenix to buy another manual but I have internet. Does anyone know where online I can find the torque specs for the head bolts, exhaust manifold bolts, and intake bolts. Also the pattern you have to put the bolts back on or do you just start in the middle and tighten them outwards??
