need ID and wiring help

1) ok I bought this motor off the internet I was told it was a 150hp mainer ser #5316410 I was wondering what year is it and if it really is a 150hp<br />2) its replacing a older chrysler motor and didn't come with a wire harness A)can I hard wire it or do I need to buy the harness<br />B) if I can hard wire it where can I get a wiring diagram<br />Thank you for any help

I would buy a Clymer outboard manual for your model, it has all the wiring diagrams, and very simple to read.<br /><br />You can probably find a connection harness on Ebay, and it would be better buy a Mariner/mercury control box with right harness, but if you are on a budget you can re-use Chrysler, just be prepared to splice wires for motor.
