I have a 1988 Alumacraft Maverick 17ft boat which I bought new. I am needing to replace the carpet. Can anyone tell me if the floors and side walls on this boat are wood, or aluminum? Thanks.

i've recarpeted most of mine except the floor and everything has been aluminum so far. i would highly recommend looking into vinyl as an alternative. i think i'll do my floor in vinyl.
