Need info on Sea King outboard

Hi,
I'm new to here, but I am hoping some of you can help. I just picked up a old sea king outboard. Had good compression and looks in decent shape. But I am looking for the manufactuer and year info. The model # is GG8960A and the serial # is 75X712388. Any help would be great. Thanks

They were private labels made for Monkey Ward by OMC's Gale Div, at least the older ones were.

Perhaps someone can decode the model/serial data.
