Need J48ESLETE shift rod measurment

Hi,

I've got a long shaft motor and found two different lengths in two different manuals. The first didn't work. Anyone know the one in an OEM manual?


Does anyone else have a problem getting the shat up through the hold at the top? I took out the seal, rand a wire with a clip on it then had to push the wire towards the opposite side to get it up and out.

Is there any easier way to do it?
