I have two manuals and both show different engines. I need some some help with fiquring out some adjustments.

Please take a look at the attached photo.

My engine seems to be idling to slow. So without thinking I made an adjustment at C. But then I realized that the adjustment at this point may effect the timing. The reason I did this initially I notice a gap at "B". The throttle cam does not make contact with the roller "B". Just slight pressure on the roller brings up the idle speed. My next step was to put the throttle cam back to its original position. Unfortunately I made this change without documenting where the original location was. I noticed a color change on the screw threads at "C" so I kinda used that along with my memory of the the gap at "B". Anyone know how to make the correct adjustment?

Other adjustments?

Is "D" the timing adjustment?

Is "A" the idle screw adjustment?

Thanks!

Absolutely....was able to track a manual down so I think I am okay now. Amazing on how I guestimated which components did what....and I was totally wrong. Glad I stopped the tinkering before things got really mucked up.
