need johnson 5.5 seahorse value

I got a johnson seahorse 5.5 cd-21a. Runs perfect. new impeller, fuel pump upgrade, and new powerhead gasket. Cools, runs, shifts, starts perfect. Im replacing it with a 9.9 hp. Would love to sell or trade... But Im not really sure what that johnson is worth. Anyone??

about that. I just sold a 6hp in like condition for 300 dollars. It was a 1965

Ask $350...take $300 before they leave the driveway..no less..maybe $250 if they know old Johnnys, and know what they are getting..(others ?? ..let them suffer 'till they find out years later it needed zero work...own a 5.5)

250-350 depending on cosmetic condition, also. i just paid $135 for a '68 3hp.
