I just got a 77 reinell 190 with a rebuilt 302.the problem is it is not all hooked up, the motor is in but not 100% installed.the distributer is just sitting thier and of course the outdrive is not installed its a 188(302)with 888 outdrive.im in need of manual for both more for engine than out drive.Plug wires are not hooked up and have no idea of the firing order.he had it running before he placed in boat,but he ran out of money(hurting for money)got the boat for a $100.any info would be great.exhaust is all hooked up to the out drive which is nice,also need a starter for it found a guy to rebuild for 100 but would rather just get one and stick it on.

Your manual can be found right here on the site. Just go to the engine section and start there.Look in the Adults Only area in there, you'll find it.

It's a Ford 302 so a trip to the library and a Ford car service manual for the year of the engine would help with firing order, and other basic engine stuff. But a factory service manual for the engine and outdrive is what you really need.

Thanks i will check out the area on the site.I have the 302 manual what im really needing is something that show me how and wereto mount the throttle cable and steering brackets.I have saw a few pictures that show this but not just of that specific area and not very clear.I think putting the out drive on willl be not to bad ive watched several how to videos does not seem to bad.im also in need of a throttle control the cables are their as well as the trim control just no throttle.Im not sure if i need a certain type of if just any will work.Thanks for the help
