I've been having a devil of a time finding a water pump kit for my Merc 9.9. Been looking for over a month now. Not trying to gripe, but I just can't believe for a motor this new there aren't any water pump kits to be found.
All my local marinas are out, and I ordered one 2 weeks ago from a large Merc. dealer up by Lake Erie who assured me they could get it. They just found out water pump kits for this model are backordered and as far as they know there are none in the USA to be found. Shipment is tentative for April 17th but I was told there is no guarantee on that. (Some type of supply problem I guess.)
Anyway, if there are any Merc. parts specialists on this board that could help me out I would really appreciate it.
Merc. waterpump kit # is: 46-803750A03
This kit contains the housing, cup, gaskets and impeller etc.
