Here we go again!
I need to replace both front motor mounts on my 1989 4.3. Yup, that's right, they don't make them anymore, "This Part is No Longer Available". Wonderful, I'm gettin to the point of just taking the whole thing out and sinkin it!
Naw, I'm havin too much fun fixin stuff and chasin down parts! Anybody know what I can replace them with? I currently have the fluid mount, pn# 18098A3. I need to adjust my alignment just a skosh, and the adjustment nut is rusted solid to the threaded shaft, no way it's gonna budge. I shot PB Blaster on it a bunch of times and let it sit for over a week, I think the nut and shaft have become one.
If I can't replace them with anything else, is there any other way to possibly get that nut loose? It's a little tight getting to it, I can just barely get a wrench on it. Thanks!
