Need new lower unit..... advice on a couple things please

My lower unit is in need of replacing and would like to know if they (for Alpha 1 GEN II) are all the same.... any ratio differences I need to watch out for, etc....?

Also, how tricky of a rebuild are they? I've done a few rears and manual transmissions over the rears, similar I would think?

Good place to buy online... ebay, SEI..... ?

There is a place online I've heard of a few times where you can get a complete upper and lower unit for only $1200 brand new. Hopefully someone will see this and point you in the right direction.
