Well, crap. My seats have gotten a little moldy. Tried to clean it off, took it to a detailer to get him to clean it off. No good. So, I know what caused it, and I know how to prevent it from happening again, but I don't know what to do about getting it replaced.

I've had seats in cars re-covered in the past, so I assume it's as simple as dropping it off at the local upholsterer's shop with a huge amount of cash. LOL.

Any other suggestions? It's a nice boat, and I don't want to half-*** it if you know what I mean.

Interior looks just like this, but with yellow accents. And moldy stuff all over it.

Looks fine to me, no rips. I took mine to get restitched when the seams went, keeping original material. I really doubt people will notice. I know that you know it is there, but if it only bugs you, then just ignore it. Also your boat looks really new, is it still under warranty?

Have you used a magic eraser on them? I would clean them and coat them to keep them looking good. They look fine now.

Ummmm - those are NOT pictures of the OP's seats. According to his post, his look like that EXCEPT they have YELLOW accents and mold all over them.

You might want to try using some original color "Colorbond" vinyl dye on them. It's not like a paint, it penetrates the vinyl. I re-did the "Egg Shell" colored seats on a Sea Ray that had been turned orange from some kind of chemical overspray in the boat yard with it 2 years ago, they still look like new.
