I see the OMC Cobra throttle/shift linkage parts come up on ebay now and then, on both sides there is a bracket that uses the 2 rear most bolts of the intake manifold to locate them. As long as you can get those parts, the main thing is going to be how to figure out a way (maybe using an aftermarket ESA module that works with electronic ignition) to make the ESA work. This has to be functional so that when you go to shift to neutral, it will drop the rpm from about 600 down to 450 or so to allow the sliding dog clutch to release the fwd or rev gear when there is pressure on the prop from the water. Running on the water hose with no pressure on the prop you can shift out of gear without needing the ESA to lower the idle. Only when there is pressure on the prop holding the clutch dogs engaged.
