Need opinon 1996 bayliner 2050

LAKE BOAT 1996 BAYLINER 2050, 250hp Mercruiser V/8, Cd player, dual battery switch, custom single axle trailer. Looks good there is no HR meter but the test ride is noce and smooth no hull damage or soft spots overall a really nice boat. However there are asking $8K for it. I need something that will be good for towing and family outings. What do you guys think is it worth it?

The value of a 14-year-old boat is going to be mostly determined by condition and maintenance. NADA and similar price guides are of limited value. What have similar boats go for in your area?

They seem to be running about $6-$8 K here asking price. No real maintenance records its a dealer but that doesn't really say much i dont think. Also no Hr Meter on the BayLiner.


I also have a couple options in the same price range for a 96 Caravelle 1900SE 4.3L and a 97 Four Winns QX 18 4.3L all 3 boat about the same price range however the hrs on the Caravelle are only 172 the Four Winns 252 and the Bayliner has no hr meter. love how they do that All are in my ballpark of 7-8K But maybe I should hold out until winter starts to come around?
