Need options for sealing underside of wood floor...

I am installing a tongue and groove cedar floor on my old Starcraft. The top will be sealed with epoxy and spar varnish after it is installed. What can the underside be sealed with prior to installation? I need something with extremely light viscosity as epoxy or varnish will be too much build up to allow the tongue to fit in the groove properly. Any ideas?

Ayuh,... Any way you can assemble the sub-panels, teat 'em, 'n Then install 'em,..??

T&G usually ain't the best choice for deckin', especially in the exposed cockpit...
