Will depend entirely if original delivered prop with engine suits moving your current load & boating needs as expected. For that will need to check your max wot rpm you alone, lightly loaded, with an induction tach to know if original prop works top for that combo. That's not being under or over revving OB.

last time I Checked it 5840 WOT which is as close as I want to be to 6000 WOT. with factory prop which I''m not sure what the number is?

You can a get a list of props from the tohatsu website (http://www.tohatsu.com/accessories/prop.asp). It shows which prop comes standard with the various models. So depending on whether yours was short vs. long shaft, power tilt vs. non-power tilt, etc. you should be able to determine which was the "standard" prop from their prop chart.

Thanks, I'm having problems getting back in the boat .Had surgery on my spine and my mind doesn't work right yet. Nerve damage

All portable OB's comes with medium pitch props. If that prop delivers near full wot rpm replace with same. Going one less pitch will over rev engine badly with current load, only good is moving more load while staying close to wot numbers. The current prop number must be stamped on prop's body, check.

I guess it is wise to make sure that it has a 7.5 stamped
