Need Propeller Information.

Having trouble getting info on proper pitched prop for my boat. Have a 1978, 24 ft. Stamas, (cabin and hard top) powered by a 1989, 225HP Evenrude. Considering a full load, What would be the best pitch recommended for top performance at about 5,000 RPM.

Keep in mind your target rpm with that motor is 5800 with an average laod. Now, knowing that boat and considering you'll probably be using ethanol fuel it's not likely you'll get there. A top rpm of only 5000 rpm will be very hard on that motor, try to get as much as possible, we're asking a lot from a single engine on that boat. That being said I'd think you'll be looking for a large diameter 4 blade, probably in a 15" pitch. A Stiletto Bay Pro II would be a good choice.
